Liz - the early years.

Truth be told, Liz had a flair for the dramatic. In other words, she could be quite the drama queen. She got caught drinking in her sophomore year while she was acting in "Sound of Music" at Grafton High. The police took her to the station and put her in a cell. She decided to make it a sad dramatic situation and use a country song to express herself, so she sang Hank Williams', "I'm so lonesome I could cry". (About as miserable a sad song as sad songs go.) She knew how to milk the moment. Hilarious.

Elizabeth was the consummate adventurer, always ready to spend my money in search of fun. We did so much together through the years, traveling to Italy and Greece. I'm glad we did, for now I must travel to her if I want to travel with her again.
